Your client may provide sensitive materials like his hosting account, social media accounts, and his/her personal properties. Be honest while using these. Do not do anything harmful for your client’s accounts or properties. I always get sensitive materials from my clients. I use these properly and honestly. That’s why they love me. They recommend me to others as well.
Don’t Waste Client’s Time:
Time is important for everyone. It’s true for your clients also. Don’t waste their time. Suppose, your client wants you to do something. But you won’t know how to do it. Please tell him/her that you aren’t able to do this. One of my clients asked me to fix a map on his site, but I was unable to do it. I told him to get his developer into this matter. He contacted his developer to fix the issue and said to me, “Thanks man. You’re really good. You saved my time”.
Talk to your clients politely. They will be impressed. If you use foul language while talking to the clients, they will think once again before giving you an assignment. You can tell your client, “I can’t do this. Get someone else who knows this. It’s not foul, but not well to hear.” You should tell your client at this point, “Sorry, I don’t know how to do this. Can you please pickup someone who knows the best solution?”
